Health and Fitness
Nordic walking is a wonderful activity for helping improve both health and fitness. As a result you may whittle your waist, lose some weight, improve body confidence, spinal rotation, gait and posture. Nordic walking helps relieve back pain, helps reduce joint stress and helps improve rehabilitation too . Nordic walking can reduce the effects of repetitive stress injuries (RSI).
It doesn't matter how fast you walk the class can cater for all abilities. Nordic Walking is an entire body workout, but it doesn't seem like you are working out. Nordic walking burns more calories than normal walking, between 20 - 46% more, which means it takes less effort to work off that extra cream bun, doughtnut or mince pie. Try something new, easy to learn, great value for money activity.
